Meet Luther

5 years old; 75 lbs

Currently in Texas looking for a foster or adopter in Montana.

Luther is an AWESOME dog! If I could keep him and still save others, had be home. He is so well-mannered! He takes food very gently, he sits, he shakes with both paws, he loves being with his people, he enjoys being on the bed and he likes being outside, though he does NOT like wet grass. Luther is a very good boy about getting in a crate (ours is a big cage with bars about two inches apart) and hes food- and treat-motivated. He could be better about listening, but were working on that. Sometimes he doesnt read doggy body language well and gets a little too excited. After a couple of days, he and my two pitties were good, even though one of mine can also misread body language. When he does get too excited, we just separate him from our dogs for a few minutes and hes good. When were watching TV, he really wants the Big Barker on which to lay.

Overall, he will make a perfect addition to a family with another dog (not a requirement, but I think hed like that). Hes pretty chill and extremely sweet. I REALLY hope his next home is his furever home because he keeps making attachments and then losing them. For that reason I feel HORRIBLY guilty about not keeping him - I do love him - but there are so many who need saving. Summary: Luther is AMAZING and deserves the very best family and ALL the loves!!!!!
