Appearance:
Unlike the Rough Collie, which is recognized for its abundant double coat, the Smooth Collie boasts a short, dense, and sleek coat that lays flat against the body. This feature not only gives the breed a streamlined appearance but also requires significantly less grooming. Their almond-shaped eyes, often in shades of brown or sometimes blue, are windows to their intelligent and alert nature.
