This girl is super smart and super connected to her person.

Put those together and you have an incredible doggy partner! We believe Mabel Marie is a Malinois x German Shepherd mix, just turning 3 years old.

She takes to training like a pro! She already walks beautifully on a leash (incredibly attentive to her handler!) and knows a few commands: sit, come, leave it, go to her kennel.

Shes a dream for someone interested in obedience or other competitive pup sports.

But Mabel Marie doesnt need any job other than loving her family! Shes not hyper just medium-energy.

As long as she gets a bit of exercise each day shes very happy.

She would love to hang out on the couch, snuggle, and watch Netflix or lounge around in the yard.

She also loves leash walks, car rides, and exploring.

What Mabel Marie loves the most is hearing what a good girl she is.

Your praise and positive feelings are the entire world to her.

Thats what motivates her even more than a tasty treat! She wants to be connected and in sync with you.

She has lived with other dogs and kids, and enjoys playing with both! But a home without small animals is best for her.

Shed love to be with a family again or be your one and only.

Ideally shed like someone who is home a lot.

Shes not a big fan of extended periods of time in her crate.

And frankly, she misses you! She gets her confidence and joy from being with her person.

Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference.

Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space.

We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives.

They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives.
