Meet Mario

Mario came into our care in June of 2023 with his 2 siblings. (Feel free to ask staff about the status of his siblings!)

He is a very shy boy who is still learning how to confidently approach humans and others. He is very nervous around new people but shows a lot of signs he WANTS to interact he just doesn't quite have that confidence yet, and in a shelter environment it is very hard for them to gain that confidence. Mario LOVES treat time and surprisingly, Catnip! He loves to observe and even sometimes joins in on playtime with wand toys! Mario just needs someone who will spend a lot of one on one time with him and give him a calm and quiet space for him to gain his confidence and with a home environment and patient, loving owner, we believe he will come around a lot quicker!
