Meet Marty – the biggest bully boy you ever did see.

Marty came to the SCSPCA from a partner shelter and since arriving he has bulldozed his way into all of our hearts.

Marty is a super happy-go-lucky guy who will do well in a variety of home environments so long as he has ample opportunities to exercise and get his yaya’s out! When he isn’t getting enough mental and physical stimulation Marty has a tendency to become a bit antsy, borderlining on worried, and sometimes will hyperfixate on toys or bones as a coping mechanism.

We feel confident that once he settles into his new home and is given consistent basic training, enrichment, and exercise, those worries will be a thing of the past! Because of his XL size, Marty is looking for a strong and active adopter that can keep up with him and stand their ground on walks.

Marty has done well with other dogs while at the shelter so a home with a canine sibling is an option for him.
