Meet Mary Kay
Mary Kay is such a calm, loving dog. She does not need a ton of exercise and is more than happy to curl up next to you or under your bed while you work. She loves a good snack though and will happily perk up at the mention of a treat. She is coming out of her shell more and more each day and is always excited to see you and cuddle. She loves being pet and relaxing with you while you watch tv. While quiet and calm inside, she is happy to go out for walks in the city and is comfortable on the busy streets of NYC. If you are looking for a sweet, calm dog to bring joy to your life, look no further!

My foster dog is good with: (Dogs, Kids, Cats): Dogs, but is timid around them (still has not met any kids or cats)
My foster dog is: (Crate trained, House trained, Low shed): Crate trained and House trained; she is perfect in the crate and sleeps through the night without a sound

Walking Manners: can be a slow walker but does not pull at all. She likes to smell everything around her and sometimes weaves
Appetite: Very food motivated. She quickly gobbles down her kibble and loves a good snack :)
Does the following: (Gets car sick, nervous outside, has separation anxiety, hates the bath, none of the above): Mary does great in the bath and is super patient. She gets timid when other dogs come up to say hi on the street but otherwise is a great walker and has not seemed bothered by the sites and sounds of NYC.
Favorite Things: Napping, eating a good treat, and cuddling

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at WaldosRescue.org and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it's a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog. We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.
