Meet Max
This 5-year-old, neutered male, mixed breed hound is so sweet and usually has his nose to the ground, checking things out! However, he does pay attention to his surroundings. His ears perk up when he sees wildlife. He doesn't bark at the animals. He is still and stares. For anyone looking for a loving companion, Max is your dog. He is not a biter, not a chewer, not a jumper, and not a digger. He loves people and loves to be a pet. He will obey some basic commands and can be trained to learn more commands if you want. He goes into his crate willingly at night and if the door is left open, he will go into it by himself during the day if someone is in the same room with him. He enjoys a bit of tug-o-war and fetch in short bursts. As long as Max is not around other dogs, he is a perfect gentleman.
