Purrlease ensure you have purrmission to have a cat where you live before considering adoption! We will need to see a copy of your lease agreement along with a contact number for your landlord to ensure the adoption is allowed.
All parties interested must meet the potential cat before adoption. If you are not living in Anchorage, you must come in to meet the cat before adoption. This is to ensure that everyone is in agreement with the adoption and that there is a purrfect connection.
Hello there furiends! ! My name is McIntosh and aren’t I the cutest. I am a 4 year old Manx mix (I have no tail) and I also have a non-progressive neurological condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia. CH affects my balance and coordination so I am a bit wobbly as I maneuver myself around! You may see me wobble from side to side, turn my head in different directions, but I love being me and CH isn’t painful. Since I have a mild form of CH, I have no problem getting around, climbing, pouncing, leaping and jumping, you name it, I can do it! I am 4, but I really think I am a kitten and boy do I love zipping around, pouncing on peacock feathers, hopping onto cat trees and boy do I love scratchers and roller ball toys! I am all about the fun and cuddles and I enjoy chatting about my day with a purrson or two! I do get overly excited at times and like to pull you in with my teeth, so I think I would do best in a home without younger children. They are suPURR cute, however I know I would do better with an experienced home who will read up on Cerebellar Hypoplasia (see the links below) and learn about how to purrovide me with the best home possible! While I have been at the shelter I have made many kitty friends in the office where I am hanging out waiting to meet the purrfect family and I really enjoy their companionship!
