Meatball Barry

Say hello to * Buster AKA Meatball Barry *
We rescued Buster from the Lancaster shelter last month, where he was red listed because he had a severe leg injury (it was an open wound).

He was so lucky to find an amazing foster and sponsor for his leg, which is now healed and good as new! Buster is Super joyful and playful, very curious, and LOVES to play with other dogs and kids.

He is being fostered with multiple kids, dogs, and even a mini horse! He is calm and Happy in his crate.

He loves to lounge and relax and to cuddle with his humans (thinks hes a lapdog).

His recall works 85% of the time .

He will need training for walking on the leash and basics, as well for learning the rules of the house.

But so does every dog!
Hes smart and eager to learn (he only needed 1 little kick from the mini horse to remember to stay out of there :) Hes very gentle and all medical staff he meets turn Meatball fans - he had big puncture wounds on his hind inner leg that abscessed and still he melts like wax in the hands of any handler to change his bandage - such a good boy!! He is likely 2 ish years young and is about 40 pounds.
