Melody is a super friendly Diva type of kitty who weighs about 8.5lbs & is approx. 2-3 years old. We rescued her from a kill shelter when her time was up due to overcrowding. This girl is SUPER social & very sweet but can also be sour as well when she’s has had enough of being petted.

If she’s over being petted, she will give a quick nip to let you know, but then she’ll still want to just lay next to you & hang out & will ask for pets again when she’s ready for them. Life with this beauty is on her terms. She loves to lay on the couch close to her foster mom & follow her around the house & is a huge fan of rubbing her body up on human legs for attention. She is not the type to want to be on your lap or want to be held, but she ALWAYS wants to be close to you & will lay by you touching you, on her terms. She is very playful & nothing seems to phase her too much.

Melody is in a foster home where she is with several other cats, several dogs of various sizes & a mini pig. She is absolutely fine with all of the other animals, but prefers that they don’t enter her space. She has been totally fine with them in her presence, but if they get too close she will hiss & walk away from them. She would probably be happiest as an only pet, but would make do with another pet in the house who isn’t looking to snuggle up with her.

Melody is very social when meeting new people. This girl loves to interact with humans. Melody is spayed, micro chipped, fiv/felv negative, up-to-date with vaccines & on flea prevention. Her adoption fee is $275, which is a tax deductible donation.
