Meet Mena

Meet Mena! Mena is a female, 1 year old, Dutch Shepherd blend. She is 48 pounds.

Mena arrived at the shelter as an owner surrender. She is a little scared here at the shelter, so she'll need a patient adopter who can give her the time she needs to warm up in her new forever home. Mena is a very nice and beautiful girl who can't wait to meet her new forever family! Once Mena warms up, she is very loving and friendly. Mena is reportedly house trained and crate trained.

Mena will need an indoor home and a secure containment area to stay safe from wandering and escaping. Positive reinforcement, fear-free training will be needed. Daily exercise and mental enrichment will be very important. If you have other dogs in your home, we do always require a staff-assisted meet and greet with your dog(s) to make sure everyone gets along. She will need a home with no cats or chickens.

Mena is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, spayed, and ready to go home today!
