Meet Mia
Meet Mia. She is a one year old border collie mix who is ever bit as sweet as she looks. Mia and her litter mates were born in the backyard of her mama’s owners who hardly ever interacted with the pups. Such a shame because all of them wouldn’t hurt a fly and they get along with all dogs. It took a little bit but Mia has learned and dearly loves belly rubs, ear scratches, greetings in the morning with good loving and she continues to learn that getting spoiled is pretty darn good. Mia is house trained, knows a dog door, and her crate is definitely her safe place. She would do best in a quiet, calm home as a family dog who plays in the back yard and activity of fun, hangs out for movie nights and being a great companion. Car rides are still very new to her but not necessarily scary. Leash walking we’re trying to work on; she gives me the look of “are ya crazy?” Lol. She does need a home that will continue to be patient and continue working with her on leash walking. She’s not been around many people so she is very shy and needs a home that will be patient and/or work with her on training. She has a precious soul and an extremely kind heart. Little dogs do not bother her, but neither does other sizes.
