Meet Michael
Michael is a 4 year old basset hound/terrier mix found in Gulfport and, like so many others, no one came in to reclaim him. He first arrived at HSSM in September and he was skin and bones! Our team worked to nurse him back to health and now he's long overdue for a family to call his own.

It may not be easy to tell from his photos, but this handsome boy is the cutest little lowrider! He's a short and long brindle boy with tiny stubby legs. Michael is a good pup, easygoing, likes to play but will snuggle if there is nothing else to do. He is crate trained and does know how to sit on command. He gets along well with other dogs and would be a great fit for most families. If you're looking to add some love to your life, we think Michael would be an amazing companion for you! Michael is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. His adoption fee including transport is $350.

The adoption will not be final until the adoption contract is discussed and signed. Transports are arranged for specific dates, typically within 1-3 weeks of approving your application.
