Meet Midnight
Midnight is now in his wonderful foster home. He is a spunky guy who is sharing his foster home with multiple other animals including dogs, cats, horses and cows! He was initially a bit scared but after a couple of days, he fit in perfectly with everyone.
Midnight is around 4.5 months (as of the end of January). He has long legs and is going to be a large dog once fully grown. He is a total love bug. He adores people and being close to them. He loves playing, wrestling and snuggling. Midnight especially loves playing with stuffies and balls and with water! He is a strong chewer, so kongs and tough stuffies are a must!
Midnight's adopters must be prepared to keep him busy with lots of daily exercise, play time, training and most importantly snuggles. He will need multiple walks and stimulation throughout the day to keep him physically and mentally happy. He is doing great with housetraining and jumps at the door to go out. As long as he has frequent outdoor visits, he has zero accidents. Midnight loves to be outdoors and enjoys going for walks and is learning to walk on leash. He is perfect in his crate and keeps it clean. He enjoys car rides too!
Midnight loves to play fetch and always returns the ball and drops it. He is highly intelligent and learns quickly. He is very treat motivated and he responds well to positive reward-based training. He already knows some basic commands including sit, down, paw and is working on stay. He also waits nicely for his meals to be served. His adopter must be prepared to continue with his positive based training. Puppies thrive in homes that can provide good routines, structure, patience and lots of love. They need lots of guidance and supervision.
He loves to play outdoors, so a house with a safely fenced back yard is recommended. He would fit best into an active home with adults, dog-savvy children and/or other friendly animals. He will make a wonderful companion for anyone.
