Meet Mila
Mila, short for milagra or miracle, is a very special girl. When Mila was a little over three months old, she escaped from her foster home through a cracked window. They were heartbroken and searched everywhere for her. Unfortunately, she seemingly vanished into thin air. However, they always kept her in their thoughts, never giving up hope that one day, they might find her.
Two weeks ago, while Mila's foster was out walking her dog, Mila ran across the street and right up to the both of them. She let out a very distinct, tiny meow. She instantly knew it was Mila! The foster ran home to grab her microchip scanner, a cat carrier and her car. Sure enough, the scanner confirmed it was Mila. We may never know where Mila spent the last eight months, but we are so grateful to have her back.
She is incredibly sweet, affectionate, playful and curious. She loves to sit in the windowsill, staring out at the birds, butterflies, dogs and people walking by. She sits on your lap or next to your computer as you work from home, or curled up next to her doggy friend, Charlie. She was re-tested for feline leukemia, FIV and parasites and got a clean bill of health.
Mila is ready to finally find a family of her own. She is so deserving of safety, love and companionship. She will make an excellent kitty, as she is incredibly sweet, affectionate and easy going. She was previously raised with other kitties, so she would do well with other cats after a slow introduction and she loves cat-friendly dogs. If you're looking for a snuggle buddy, she's your gal.
