ABOUT MINNIE MOUSE
Similar to the Disney character, she is a lively and energetic girl who will bring your spirits right on up! Minnie is a 3 year old hound mix. She loves attention and will easily make you laugh with her silly antics! Minnie Mouse is very active in our Doggy Day Out program, where volunteers can give our pups a break from shelter life for the day! Here's what Minnie's favorite volunteer has to say:

"We had a wonderful day with Minnie! She's such a sweet girl! She took a nice long hike at Carousel, and a visit to Concord Pet afterwards. Taking a ride was very exciting to her, and she was easy jump into the crate. She's very good in the car, just checking out the world outside or chilling. She walked really well on the leash at the park, not pulling much at all. She's really great at siting and lying down on command, and with some work could learn other tricks. She loved going to Concord Pet and got some people attention there. After the long walk, she was happy just chilling on the floor which was super cute! Minnie is so friendly and willing to please, she'd make a wonderful family pet, or a wonderful companion for someone living alone. What an awesome Sunday, thanks Minnie!"

In the meantime, you are welcome to submit an adoption questionnaire if interested in adoption! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis. We are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come for the meeting to ensure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
