Miso is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX and is eligible to transport to an adopter as soon as one is lined up!

Meet Miso!

Miso is currently 5 months old (as of 10/1/23). He is fully vaccinated & microchipped! Miso will be adopted out on a neuter contract and neutered at the age of 6 months.

Miso and his siblings were found as strays on a very hot day. There was not any momma dog or puppy daddy around, but we DNA tested one of the puppies and they are 89% pittie and 11% supermutt! Our vet doesn't think they'll grow to be large breed pups and estimated they would be around 50 pounds or less, but again, we can never be sure.

Miso is young so he is super friendly with everyone that he meets! Miso currently lives with other dogs and and was friendly with kids in his previous foster home (ages 1 year - 8 years). He LOVES to play with other dogs at the dog park and chase after all the big dogs. He is submissive in play with the bigger dogs but he loves to chase once he is comfortable.

Miso's foster family describes him as playful, sweet, cuddly, curious, loving and snuggly. After he has gotten his puppy energy out, he is a huge couch potato and LOVES to cuddle and snuggle with his human. He is very loyal and will follow his human around the house.

His foster currently crates him during the work day and he does well playing with his toys and catching some zzzz’s. During the night, he sleeps in the bed with his foster and LOVES to cuddle. His foster parent describes him as a total cuddle bug and pretty calm, but also loves to play.

Miso is potty trained but might need a refresher course when he gets to his new home. Miso hasn't met a cat but since he is so young and friendly we do not anticipate any issues.

Miso would love a fully fenced yard or an active family as he (and most puppies) have puppy energy he'll need to burn off. All of our puppies under the age of 1 year old are required to attend some form of puppy obedience classes / training with their new adoptive family.

Miso loves running and playing with his foster sibling and dog park friends, so another pet in the home would be great, but isn't necessary.
