All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.
* If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, for an application.
Our adoption fees vary.
Each biography will specifically list the adoption dog will be at a meet and greet event on Saturday, February 24th unless he/she is adopted prior to the event with a set up home.
The event is from 12 pm to 3 pm at Palo Alto's Pet Food Express.
Those interested in meeting the dog can come out to our meet and greet event.
We no longer do application approval onsite.
Anyone adopting has been previously approved and set up to meet prior to the event.
Adoption Fee: $200 Miss White is a 10 year old Maltese mix who was surrendered to DPS when her former home decided they no longer wanted to care for her.
This gal is looking for a home where she can live out her golden years in style and comfort and promises to provide humor and snuggles in return! Miss White has a non-shedding coat which makes her an option for those with allergies.
Miss White has a heart murmur which has been diagnosed by our vet.
She is not on medication at this time for the murmur, as our vet did not feel medication would be beneficial for her at the present, but it is something her adopters will need to monitor with their vet.
Miss White is the perfect dog for someone seeking a faithful companion forever! She loves keeping up with her foster mom and snoozing next to her as she works.
She also loves getting outside for walks and sniffs and keeps up with the younger dog she cohabitates with.
As an older gal, she is content to sleep most of the day away, so she would be the perfect dog for a movie marathon lifestyle!
Miss White starts her day at 7 AM and goes outside for a quick potty break.
She has breakfast before getting a 20 minute walk, keeping up with the other dog in her foster home.
During the day, she snoozes in a soft bed, taking herself outside for bathroom breaks as needed.
She gets another short walk in the evening before dinner.
In the evening, she cuddles with her foster mom before heading to bed in her crate around 10 PM.
Miss White gets along with other dogs, but doesn't love playful in your face pups, so a home with a puppy might not be a fit for her.
She loves her walks and she perks up once she gets outside.
Miss White is an option for any home.
For those with an open heart towards our gray-muzzled friends, she will be a loyal and loving companion.
Kids in a home should be in their teens.
