Little Missy came to Battersea due to a change in her owners circumstances and through no fault of her own.
She generally has a lovely history in her previous home but there are some clear sensitivities outlined in her history around handling. She will need new owners who are prepared to put in some training around her handling and can read her body language well.
Since coming into Battersea, Missy has shown to be a sweet girl with a sensitive side to her. She is quite uncomfortable with general handling and becomes quite diffusing around this. She will wiggle around and nuzzle into you when trying to clip up her harness. She has also shown to be quite the noisy pickle! She has been vocal when on walks so will need to live in a quieter location out of the inner city. She is a very busy girl, and is here, there and everywhere when spending time with her. This has also come across when she is interacting with dogs. She has been quite rude in her play with an OTT playstyle and is generally quite a full on young pup. As a young girl, she will need continual socialisation in her new home to ensure she gains some manners as she grows up and learns to play appropriately with other dogs.
Missy is a sensitive little sweetheart and will need patient, understanding and experienced owners in her new home that can read her body language well and are prepared to put in some training. She is a very smart girl and has picked up all the training carried out onsite quickly and will for sure be a fun girl to train in her new home. Her age should not be overlooked by new owners and they should be prepared to put in all the basic training a puppy needs to be a well-mannered, happy dog.
