Sweet Mona! A 2 year old boxer mix was found wandering the hospital grounds in Chinle, AZ after having/weaning her puppies.

She was taken to a foster home where she almost shut down.

Seems this girl has been through a lot in life and she deserves the best! Mona has been in Foster since July and while she was scared at first and hid from her foster parents she now thrives and loves cuddles and pets.

She currently has a foster sister (BonBon) that helped bring her out of her shell and she looks to her a lot for safety.

Mona is a loving dog who once she is given time to warm up wants to be with you as your shadow.

She is house broken, knows a few commands, working on leash training, and is good with recall commands if she knows who is calling her.

Mona would do great in a home as an only pup or with a sibling around her size (57 lbs).

She hasn't had many interactions with other bigger adult dogs aside from her foster sister but has done well with puppies and foster's small dogs.

Would just need to be given adequate time to learn a new environment.
