Meet Monica, a sweet and friendly dog with a heart full of loyalty and a longing for a loving home where she can find comfort and build her confidence. Despite her initial shyness, Monica possesses a friendly nature that is sure to melt your heart. She may take some time to warm up to new people and situations, but once she feels secure and trusts her human companions, she becomes an incredibly devoted and loyal companion. Once Monica warms up she has endless energy and lots of love to share.

Monica's sweet and friendly nature shines through in her interactions with those she trusts. She eagerly seeks gentle affection and craves reassurance. Once she establishes a bond with her humans, Monica will shower them with unwavering love and loyalty, making her an ideal companion for someone looking for a devoted and devoted furry friend.
Monica is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, neutered and tested negative for heartworms. Her adoption fee including transport is $350.

The adoption will not be final until the adoption contract is discussed and signed. Transports are arranged for specific dates, typically within 1-3 weeks of approving your application. We are the Humane Society of South Mississippi (HSSM), a progressive animal welfare organization located in Gulfport, MS. Each year HSSM houses approximately 7,000 homeless pets. Every day we are fighting a space capacity crisis as we try to care for the overwhelming amount of abandoned local pets.
