Dogs: well-matched large males
Cats: unknown
Children: well-matched, teens and older Moon is a gorgeous Cane Corso young dog who is looking for a dedicated, experienced home.
Moon loves all of the staff and volunteers, but she definitely has a shy side, and looks to her person for guidance and confidence.
Once she relaxes, she is your typical rowdy adolescent.
Given her size and exuberance, wee little humans will not be a good fit.
She needs a home that is committed to humane, fun training, and who also understands the responsibility that comes with a large, strong breed.
Condo living isn't her thing.
She needs a nice big yard to romp around in, as she gets nervous on-leash in busy, densely populated areas and can't focus on doing her business or just enjoying her walk.
Moon does have doggy friends at the shelter, and seems to get on especially well with the male dogs here.
We think she could live with a well-matched, playful male large dog.
We do not know how she would be with little critters.
Moon is sure to fill your house with love, slobber, and lots of fun! If you think you can provide her with a great home, please submit the application form ASAP.
Please note that we do not schedule visits to meet dogs unless we feel it is a suitable match.
Moon's birthdate is May 12, .
She was 90 lbs as of November 23.
She has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and has received parasite prevention.
Her adoption fee is $350 + tax.
