Meet Morrissey
Morrissey is a 1.5 year old 35 lb rez dog, possibly lab mix. He might have some whippet, shepherd, border collie or min pin. He is a loyal dog with a working breed personality and will be an awesome dog for a somewhat experienced owner.

Like many Coloradoans, Morrissey is happiest outside. He loves walks, hikes, mountain bike rides, and runs, and would probably love to follow you on horseback rides as well. He is very athletic and fast! He was born in foster care in September 2021, and all of his siblings found homes but him because he wasn't as social. He's grown up with plenty of time inside and is house-trained and crate trained. He loves playing with balls and toys!

Morrissey is a bit anxious, and a bit like a cat. He wants affection on his own terms, but can be very affectionate. New people can freak him out a bit, but he is gaining confidence with meeting new people and warms up after a couple meetings. He definitely needs adequate exercise and mental stimulation, but with that he is happy to chill inside for most of the day. He might enjoy van life if he could run around outside, as he rides well in a car and is a nice portable size! He does well out and about at events and meeting new people away from home, he just needs a confident and calm human and possibly a dog friend to help him be is best! Could that be you?
