Meet Mossy Oak
Meet Mossy Oak, a 1.5-year-old male Terrier/Retriever mix.
Mossy Oak was brought to the adoption center by animal control in the lower valley. He is a very active and outgoing 60 pound dog. Mossy O. is a little too energetic for small kids at this time. He needs an adopter that has a little time to train him. Mossy would love a home with a fenced in yard that he would be safe to play in.
This pet is available for adoption at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. If you recognize this animal please contact the adoption center.
Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Saturday.
A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Adopt Don't Shop.
