Meet Murphy

Born November 16, 2021, Murphy is a male Black Lab mix. True to his lab nature, this boy loves water (sprinklers beware!) He’s good with other dogs unless they come on too strong. He will react in barking loudly but corrects well. Cats are probably a no-we have seen a little prey drive while on walks. Murphy enjoys walks and is learning to walk well on a leash but he still has the tendency to pull which he’ll grow out of with time and practice. He’s housebroken and will crate if you coax him with a treat Murphy is doing a great job beginning to learn his basic commands such a sit, down and stay.

He as sweet as pie and adores belly rubs and will often rollover at your feet to prompt his person to give one! We don’t much about his past aside from the fact he was found abandoned out in Burbank. Murphy will do best in an active home with a securely fully yard. Since Murphy finds so much joy in playing the water – a swimming pool would be an added bonus! Murphy is still working on being the best do he can be and not jumping, so we do recommend if there are children in the house, over the age of 5.
