Meet Myra
Meet Myra, a 2-year-old female Pit Bull/Kelpie mix.
Myra was picked up by animal control in a park. She seems to be very well cared for, her coat looks super healthy and she is a a good weight. Myra isn't your average stray and should have someone looking for her, sadly no one has contacted YHS yet. Myra doesn't understand all the action happening around her at the adoption center. She feels best when she can be very close to a person and is even more happy if you will sit on the ground with her and let her snuggle right in. Myra has adorable ears and very pretty coat markings, making her a even more beautiful. Myra needs a home where she is a valued member of the family, she is not a yard pet.
This pet is available for adoption at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. If you recognize this animal please contact the adoption center.
Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Saturday.
A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Adopt Don't Shop.
