Meet Naysi
Naysi, 4 years old, spayed female, Pitbull Terrier mix, 52 lbs. She is in Houston, Texas and can transport to an approved adopter.

Our sweet girl Naysi had a sad beginning and we are hopeful you will be her happy ending! She was abandoned on a balcony and ran out of food and water. Someone found her time, but had to bring her to an overcrowded shelter. She found herself on the euthanasia list a few days later :( She was about 10 pounds underweight when leaving the shelter, but is healthy and thriving!

Naysi is incredibly sweet and loving. She might be the most patient dog who waits for you to fasten her harness. She sits so still and calm. She LOVES her walks. Initially, she was not too sure about the leash and would zig zag. With more practice, she is feeling more confident.

She has been around different sizes of dogs. She does great walking on leash and has no reaction when seeing other dogs. In the home, it takes her a little bit of time to feel comfortable sharing her space. She is not aggressive, but will need a home who is willing to be patient for a little bit as she settles in. She has a tendency to run along the fenceline and bark at another dog.

Naysi is mostly housebroken, but has had an accident here and there. She sometimes forgets to hold it! In a new transition, she would do best with someone who can take often in order for her to learn the routine. She has no issues in her crate. She has been left out unsupervised and was fine.

She loves puzzle toys! She loves to cuddle and hang out with people. She rides great in the car. We think she's moderate energy and would be okay in an apartment setting with consistent exercise.

We have no history with cats or kids. She has seen some cats out walking and did not react, but has not been around them in a home. We recommend a home with kids 12 years and older.
