Home Fur Good followers may recognize this beautiful boy.
He originally came to HFG in March , he was named Neko, and he was quickly adopted.
He spent the last year in a loving home.
His family has had a change in employment status and now Neko has come back ready to start a new search for his forever family.
Neko is a three-year-old, 47-pound Husky mix with gorgeous blue eyes.
For a Husky, he isn’t very vocal, or at least he hasn’t had much to say since arriving at Home Fur Good.
HFG has worked to find him a doggie buddy, but so far hasn’t been able to find a love match.
Neko is tolerant; just so far he has not been interested in interacting or engaging in play.
Neko knows sit, lay down, no, and place.
His owners said he is house trained, and he was allowed to roam loose both day and night.
HFG does always warn that accidents can happen while a dog learns the rules and routines of a new home.
Neko is still working on his leash manners and he enjoys having items to chew on and he might be a bit of a digger.
His owner said that Neko is good with other dogs and cats.
HFG recently learned that Neko has a strong prey drive and would do best in a home that does not have small animals like guinea pigs or pet rats.
Neko is a happy boy and he is always excited to meet new people.
The adoption fee is $225 and includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and a free wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital.
Our adoption hours are Thursday-Saturday from 11:00 am-4:00 pm by appointment.
