PERSONALITY TRAITS:

Background history on Nelson from the shelter: NELSON was found in the desert when he was 8 weeks old with the rest of his litter. He was apparently used as a bait dog and he was the only survivor. He was taken in by a Good Samaritan (former animal control officer) who didn't want to see him used as a bait dog for dog fighters. Nelson came to the shelter as a result of not getting along with the other resident dog. Nelson is a happy-go-lucky goofball that wants to have a good time. Want to play fetch? Go for a hike? Watch TV? Hang out with you while you read a book or sit at the cafe having a cup of coffee? Nelson fits the bill!

Whereas Nelson didn't like living with another dog he had no problem with cats! He knows basic commands is house-trained, leash-trained and crate trained.
