Neptune has quite the story and so far 3 lives! He was rescued from an irrigation canal after falling in with a broken leg (or broke it falling in?) most likely he was hit by a car.
The fire department was called and he was saved by them and landed himself in the Humane Society where he was made unadoptable due to the severity of his leg.
Our rescue new hoped him from the Humane Society and brought to the VCA emergency pet hospital where he had emergency surgery to save his leg.
$ later he came to foster with myself and a summer of rehabilitation.
Months later her was adopted, only to be dumped back again in the humane Society again for a bone infection in his fractured/repaired leg.
Once again, he was new hoped and another $ his leg was amputated to save his life and has been once again with his foster mom/rescue founder.
So, this dog is very loved and special.
He is an amazingly resilient loving dog who deserves a committed home in the way I have committed to saving his life, not once but twice.
He has learned manners, to live in a pack respecting other dogs boundaries and is housebroken and doggy door trained
