Meet Neve
Hello my name is: Neve. My nickname is: "Snowy" and I'm about four years old
My favorite thing to eat is: Freezer dried beef liver treats. I'll do anything for those things!
My favorite thing to play with is: My lab foster brother.
My funniest quirk is: (actually, it's my CUTEST quirk!) The 2-year-old human in my foster house likes to walk me around the living room. We're buds. I love to relax and watch him play, too. Also! When I stand next to my foster mom, her 9-month-old baby loves how my fur feels on her feet. So I get a daily massage courtesy of baby toes.
What do I get in trouble for: My foster parents are gardeners. I've received "the look" a few times for laying too close (a.k.a. on top of) to a beloved plant or two. But I find another place to park when they tell me to scoot.
What I dislike the most: I bark a bit when I'm in my crate at first. Thunderstorms aren't my favorite-but the humans remain calm (and perhaps toss an extra bone my way) to help me relax, too.
What makes me unique: I get along with everyone, and I have yet to meet a human that doesn't complement my behavior.
Where do I sleep: In my crate downstairs, near my foster canine brother, who sleeps in his crate, too. The humans sleep upstairs.
Do I love car rides: I haven't taken many car rides, but I behaved myself when my foster mom picked me up!
Where's my favorite place to go: I walk with my foster mom to the school to pick up the kids. The kids LOVE to see me. I'm a bit of a celebrity!!
Do I like cats: I tolerate them! My feline foster sister is an old dame who spends most of her days on top of the dryer. I look at her and mind my own business. If I see a cat in the neighborhood, I may bark but still keep trotting along my merry way.
How I feel about my crate: Oh, fine. I may bark for a few minutes when I first go in there, but just be patient; I will chill out. Bones help distract me!
My perfect home would be: With anyone! I get along with humans and dogs of all ages. My foster house has four kids (ages nine months to 5 years)! So my foster mom hopes I'll get to hang out with more kids since I'm such a natural with them.
Other stuff you should know: I'm easy to please! I may have a bit of a "resting sad face," but I promise I'm a happy girl! My foster parents love having me around and are happy to wait for the right family for me.
All dogs and puppies require VISIBLE fencing.
