Nico

Meet Nico! He loves walks, soaking up the CA sunshine and cuddling with his person.

He is very curious and observant and learns quickly! In two weeks, Nico has learned his name, how to sit, and the meaning of "outside" which he loves.

Walks are a favorite and he is always ready to go.

He would make a great walking/hiking buddy.

At night, Nicholas is ready to cuddle on the couch.

Nico is house trained and knows to go outside.

He is crate trained.

At night he sleeps in “play pen" area with his blankets and bed.

Nico is leash trained, he loves his walks but is a bit picky with what dogs and people he likes, he greets most with a tail wag! He’s more comfortable with small/medium dogs than larger ones.

Nico would work very well in a home where his leader is in charge.

He is smart and will quickly learn! In addition, a more submissive dog in the home would be good to show him the ropes while he gets acclimated.

He would do well in a home by himself or with another dog, but if another dog then they should be a more docile and easy-going type, since Nico tends to be the more enthusiastic type.

Nico loves walks so needs an active family who also enjoys walks.

Nico loves to have all of the attention! He has some guarding tendencies but is working on it with the "off" command.

He is very excitable and the energy kids have tend to make him nervous so would do best in a calm, quiet adult only home .

Nico will bark/cry when left alone initially however does quiet down and sleeps.

He is learning new things daily and would make a fun, feisty and adventure pal! Nico is in Long Beach CA.

He 6-8 yrs old and 11 lbs.

We don’t know his breed for sure, we think he is a malti-poo, he does not shed.

Nico is healthy, neutered, current on his vaccine and microchipped.

He had a dental in Jan .
