Are you right for Nico?
Nico has shown to be very friendly with everyone he has met so can live with children 12+ that wont overhandle him. He does enjoy saying hello to other dogs on walks however we believe he will be best as the only dog in the home where he can be spoilt with lots of fuss and cuddles. Nico can’t live with cats but could potentially live with small furries/birds as long as they are kept separated. He would also benefit from adopters that are able to have minimal leaving hours initially which can they be built up as he settles into his new home (4-6 hours).

Say hello to Nico! This gorgeous older gentleman has instantly stolen the hearts of everyone at the centre and is sure to steal yours too. He’s a 13-year-old Akita looking for his retirement home where he can be the centre of attention and happily snooze away for his afternoon nap. He enjoys the simple pleasures of life and loves nothing more than a nice potter with his human and four legged friends.
