Meet Noodle
Meet Noodle (aka Desnudo)! Noodle is an adorable scruffy terrier-mix girl who came to us from a shelter. Like so many dogs in overcrowded shelters across the country and around the globe, Noodle potentially faced euthanasia simply because so many dogs are found as strays or are surrendered every day, so shelters are experiencing a severe lack of space and capacity. Noodle is a favorite of the staff and volunteers alike. She is very friendly and outgoing, great with all people, children, other dogs and even cats. She loves going on adventures and loves being where her family is. She's house trained, crate trained, does well on a leash and loves car rides too! She has the sweetest personality and currently lives in a foster home with a family that includes several dogs, as big as 130 pounds and as little as a 7 pounds Dachshund puppy, a cat, and kids. Submit your online adoption application today through our website today and don't miss this opportunity to bring this wonderful pup home for a home trial towards her adoption. Will you be her hero?
Steps to adopting
Adoption applications will be kept on file for 1 year and can be applied towards multiple adoptions within that time frame.
The first step to adopting a dog from the rescue is to complete the adoption application (Click on the orange colored "Fill out an Adoption Application here" button to start the process). Once submitted, please expect 3-5 business days or sooner for processing and to hear back from us. Once you are pre-approved, your adoption application will remain on file with us for 1 year and it can go towards multiple adoptions within that 1 year time frame. The application will expire 1 year from when it was submitted.
To finalize an adoption you must sign the adoption contract and pay the full adoption fee. The adoption fee helps cover our costs. On average, per dog, it costs for medical/vetting, transport, sterilization and more. All dogs are rescued and do not transport to the rescue until they are healthy and ready to be adopted. All dogs are seen by a veterinarian before they fly, given standard vaccines and rabies (if old enough). Most dogs are sterilized before they fly, however if this is not the case we will spay/neuter them once they arrive at our expense by our own veterinarian. Upon their arrival, all dogs are seen for a wellness exam by the rescue's medical team.
Once the adoption is finalized, any further medical care or treatment will not be covered by the rescue, unless discussed prior. All known issues are disclosed to the best of our ability prior to finalizing the adoption.
