Mission
Nice to meet you. We are a pair of dog-loving gals in the Des Moines, Iowa area. Our names are Holly & Kara and we met through our mutual passion for saving pups in need. It only made sense to dive into our very own rescue after a decade + helping dogs.
Rescue truly does take a village. Fosters, sponsors (that means money! saving pups isn’t cheap ya know!), transporters, you name it, we can use the help! We are super excited to help as many pups as we can with your support! We are fully licensed and a 501c3 non-profit.
If you have or know of a dog needing help, please contact us! If we can’t help, we will dig into our network to do what we can to make sure that every dog finds themselves in the live they deserve. Follow us on social media to learn more.
Adoption Policy
1. Fill out the application.
2. Phone Interview with foster parent and potential adopter.
3. Meet and greet with any potential other dogs or family members.
4. Home Visit.
5. Visit and complete adoption contract.
