OLIVE BIO 3 years old/50 lbs Olive had parents.
And then her parents had a human baby and decided they didn't want Olive.
They asked their vet technician to try to re-home her and the vet tech said she supposedly tried to find a rescue or shelter that would take her, but she had no success.
(Bull****) She set up a euthanasia date for August 12, .
Thankfully, my girl learned of Olive and she raced over to the vet.
These are her words:
"I stopped by the veterinary office to assess Olives behavior/ temperament.
Olive was terrified and confused, which completely makes sense especially after being given up on by her family.
Olive didn't deserve to be given up on and I couldn't let them euthanize this poor girl, so I brought her home.
We took it very slow at home with Olive.
We let her decide when she was ready to start trusting us.
Little by little, she came around and showed us that she can trust again! Her first sign of trust was by jumping on my partner Shane's chest and asked him for attention.
It was the sweetest thing! I slowly introduced her to my pack, then we moved on to pack hikes, and now treadmill workouts.
All of these challenges and consistent training has been a great learning experience for Olive.
She's come a long way since the first day that I met her.
She's a lot more confident and looks happier.
I'm proud of this girl and I'm happy that she is going to continue living the happiest dog life with her future forever home and parents that will spoil her endlessly.
Olive like to play with other dogs she can learn to trust.
Once she is familiar with the dog, she likes to Ruff house and play chase.
She is crate trained/ potty trained.
She loves to cuddle.
She gets the zoomies when she is happy and excited.
She loves to be hugged." Thank god for Karina! Now let's find Olive a home!!!!! A real home that will love her unconditionally and never dump her because they're having another child
