Currently Fostered in Abbotsford BC! Available for adoption in Canada, Oregon, Utah, Idaho and Washington! Oreo is a very active, playful pup.
He loves people and animals and is very friendly and social.
He is an indoor, "velcro dog" and would love to have another dog and/or cat in the house.
Oreo's incredibly smart, good on leash and learning recall commands.
He's eager to learn and very food driven.
Oreo is a very submissive guy with people and other dogs.
He loves to lay on his back and get belly scratches.
He is very playful and especially loves playing fetch! He loves to play tug of war and puts up a fierce sounding battle but its all even learned how to swim this summer with his foster mom and will retrieve toys in pretty deep water! He is ready for all your swimming adventures when the weather gets warmer! He really is that all around good dog.
He knows lots of commands, verbal and hand commands, and does well with recall when he is alone but when other people or dogs are around he just wants to play and have fun! Oreo would do best in a home with another dog who wants to play or a playful dog savy cat.
He is currently living with a cat and has no prey drive towards it, but does like to instigate play.
He loves to chew on toys so only sturdy chew toys for this boy.
He also loves puzzle toys, kongs and other enrichment activities.
He is good in his crate when he foster mom leaves, no barking or separation anxiety.
He would do best with someone home part of the day, although he has been left for 7 hours before and been fine.
Since he is very playful and likes to run, Oreo would do best in a home with a fenced yard to run and play in.
If he starts getting wound up during the day all he needs is a good run in the yard and then he settles back down.
He does have some skin allergies, so he eats a fish based kibble and fish/plant based treats.
He also is a silly boy and loves ice cubes.
His favorite human snacks are raw veggies, some fruits and he loves a good squirt of coconut whipped cream.
This guy is also a bit of a fashionista, he loves to wear bandanas, and likes his coats when it is rainy or cold out.

Why adopt from Three Little Pitties?
The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation.
Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone.
Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference.
Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space.
This dog youve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption.
We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive.
From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dogs needs.
We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesnt stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.)
