He is a very intelligent dog who LOVES to be around people.
Pacho is a very affectionate guy.
He loves to sit on your lap, cuddle, be held and fawned over.
This dog hasn't met a stranger he doesn't love.
As with most chihuahuas, he will show his displeasure by nipping if he is being forced to do something he doesn't want to do.
Luckily, he always gives a warning and as he becomes comfortable with you, he is more tolerant.
While he loves people, toys (particularly stuffies) are his favorite thing on the planet.
He can't get enough.
Did we mention he's obsessed with stealing slippers?
Pacho is dog and cat friendly but does not have any interest in playing with them.
He is an independent player, but will also play with you if you'd like.
Pacho is an attention hog so we feel it would be best if he were an only dog.
Pacho goes on at least one walk a day.
He appears disinterested on walks as he doesn't explore or sniff, but enjoys saying hi to new people.
He does not react to other dogs on his walks.
Food: He enjoys treats and bully sticks, but isn't food obsessed.
He is eating a combination of kibble and wet food.
Sleeping arrangements: Pacho currently sleeps in bed with his foster.
He has not been crate trained.
Barks: Very rarely.
Housetraining: Pacho is pee pad trained.
He does not use the bathroom outside, even on walks.
His foster has been working with him on this for several months, but he does not appear to be comfortable using the bathroom outside.
Ideal family: An ideal home for Pacho would be with people who are home most of the time.
This little guy has a big character and an even bigger heart.
Because he is incredibly intelligent, the can also be stubborn, but will give up easily.
His new family will need to be patient with him as you gain his trust and learn his triggers.
His new home should be calm and full of love.
Pacho is being fostered in the Lower Mainland of BC.
