PAWS Brave Hearts
PAWS is a tax-exempt 501C3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide and promote compassionate care to dogs and cats in Washington County and to advocate for the humane treatment of all animals.
Each year, we rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home hundreds of strayed, abandoned, abused or surrendered companion animals. We reunite families with their beloved cats and dogs who have gone missing and we give assistance, including pet food, to families in need. We deliver wellness care, including spay/neuter services, to hundreds of cats through our Trap-Neuter-Return program and co-sponsored subsidized clinics. We work with schools and civic groups who inspire kindness in youth, the future of animal welfare.
In 2018, we delivered more life-saving services than ever before and the results have been dramatic! In 2019, we are ready to do even more, including crucial updates to our aging facility.
