Paws Up Pet Rescue
Mission
We are a foster based rescue that helps animals in need. We can take in local, owner surrender and animals from high kill shelters if we have a foster home that will be a fit for that animal.
We are always looking for foster homes so we can help more animals but that does go hand in hand with the need for more financial rescources. We are not funded by any goverment or county program - we rely solely on donations.
Our board lives in the Sheboygan WI area, but we have fosters throughout the state of Wisconsin, Georgia and Alabama.

Adoption Policy
Thank you for choosing to adopt from Paws UP Pet Rescue!
KITTEN SPECIAL!
ALL KITTENS ARE $100 ADOPTION FEE FOR A KITTEN.
ADOPT IN PAIRS AND THE 2ND KITTEN IS $75 WHEN ADOPTED TOGETHER. ($175 for both)
ADULTS ARE $75 AGES 1-4 YRS. TWO ADULTS IS $125 IF ADOPTED AT THE SAME TIME
SENIORS OVER AGE 5 YRS $40
Adoption Information and Fees
All Adopters must be at least 18 years of age, complete a non-binding application and pass a background check, vet check, reference check, landord check(if applicable) and home visit.
It is our requirement that ALL resident dogs be spayed/neutered, current on rabies, heartworm prevention, and distemper vaccination unless the family veterinarian has indicated it is not in the best interest of the animal. Proof of this recommendation is required.

If resident animals are not up to date, the applicant will be put on hold. If no response after 3 days, the application will be closed and denied. If the animal is brought current, the applicant is to notify the board via email.
Adoptable animals will not be “held” during this time and may be adopted out to other applicants.
Adoption Fees
DOGS / PUPPIES
Puppies up to 2 years- $400.
** If the puppy is not altered, there will be a refundable deposit of $100 due at time of adoption. (Total $500 is due). The $100 will be refunded once the puppy has been altered. The spay/neuter is included in the adoption fee if the surgery is done at our preferred veterinarian. If another vet is chosen, the cost will be on the adopter and the $100 deposit will be returned after proof of neuter is sent to the rescue.
An obedience class is also required for all adoptied dogs and puppies. This is at the owners expense but builds confidence and trust with the animal and the adopter. Proof of the class completion is to be sent to the rescue. Prices subject to change.
Dogs 2 year to 6 years $350
Dogs over 7 years $250
CATS/ KITTENS
Kittens up to 1 year - $100 for first kitten. $75 FOR SECOND KITTEN WHEN ADOPTED TOGETHER.
Adult Cats 1 year to 4 years $75 Two adults is $125
Cats over 5 years $40.
