Our vet estimated her to be around 13 weeks as of March 2nd and weighed in at ~15lbs.
She was a little shy initially but opened up very quickly.
She’s gotten along great with her foster sister and they love to hide under the bed and play together.
She’s a very smart, playful, and energetic girl who would do well in a home that can provide a lot of enrichment.
She’s very food driven, possibly exacerbated by the fact that she was so skinny and full of worms.
However, if she wants something she’s determined to get it.
She has not shown any signs of reactivity or resource guarding.
She’s a little vocal though this is possibly due to her age.
While she is a little bit fussy in her pen and kennel, positive reinforcement has been working miracles and she is getting better by the day.
Her forever family should anticipate continuing her crate training.
Due to being fostered in an apartment and the frequency of her potty breaks, she is using puppy pads.
She is very consistent about it so far, though.
Her forever family should anticipate working on weaning her off of them.
So far she has already started to pick up on her name, on sitting, and not jumping at the pen door while we’re opening it.
She has started leash training but will need her family to continue with it.
She has some initial fear with new environments but nothing that can’t be handled with some encouragement and treats.
