Percy

Hello...

my name is Percy! I'm an approximately one-year-old Terrier mix.

I was rescued from the shelter and I'm learning what's it like to be a playful and wonderful fur baby, but I don't currently have all the foundational dog skills (confidence, socialization, and impulse control) down due to my unknown past and, thus, children are too much for me.

I don't enjoy being forced into situations and get overly nervous and stimulated when that happens.

Being groomed is currently a work in progress for me, as I was severely matted and it was a scary and painful experience to get cleaned up.

But with patience, I am learning every day how to trust.

I need my adopter to be patient with me and give me lots of structure.
