Pitch just arrived to a Redmond, WA foster home from a shelter near Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
The shelter does a great job of taking care of the animals in their care but nothing beats a real home.
For Through no fault of his own, no one ever applied for Pitch and after 1 year at the shelter, they asked for our help in finding him the perfect home in the PNW.
His foster mama will travel for meet and greets including to Canada where many of our adopters are located.
Pitch is about 4 or 5 years old and weighs around 40 lbs.
A good Samaritan called the shelter about him as he was laying at a construction site with wounds and was very skinny.
Even in pain, this guy has an awesome personality! He's fun and wants to be with people.
He's a bit jumpy, because he's excited! He's finally in a foster home.
This is easily stopped and he will learn quickly.
He is housetrained and walks pretty well on leash.
He is cautious around other dogs.
He likes the dogs in his foster home because after they met, they all went to their own beds and no one is in anyone's business.
I suspect he's been attacked by dogs.
He doesn't want any problems.
He is not a dog park dog.
We want him to go to a home that will respect him and protect him.
He doesn't want dogs jumping on him.
That may change once he trusts a dog but he's perfectly happy being the only dog or around a dog as a parallel player.
I haven't tested him around cats yet but I will and will update his bio.
His adoption fee is $550 and includes all emergency vetting, vaccinations, neuter, air transport and microchip.
