Meet Adopted! Pluto
Due to the high level of interest in Pluto, we apologize that we were not able to respond to everyone. Pluto has now been adopted.
Pluto and his siblings were surrendered to us from a hunter who, due to medical issues, could no longer care for them. They are all friendly, social puppies. Like all young puppies, they will need training, including housebreaking, to grow up to become well- mannered adults.
It is a good thing puppies are so cute, because they can be a lot of work at first! They will need someone who is home a good portion of the day. Due to their size and activity level, they will need a single family home or townhouse (no apartments) and would be best with kids over 10 years. Though we can’t predict size when they are full grown, their mother was approximately 20 lbs and father was around 30 lbs. So we expect they will be somewhere in between.
Pluto is a snuggly boy. He enjoys sleeping on people’s laps when he is finished romping with his siblings.
If you are interested in meeting any of them, please fill out an application. Although Pluto (and his sibs) will not attend adoption events, best-matched adopters will be invited to visit him in her foster home in Hyattsville, Maryland. The adoption fee for Pluto is $400.
