All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.
* If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, for an application.
Our adoption fees vary.
Each biography will specifically list the adoption dog will be at a meet and greet event on Saturday, February 24th unless he/she is adopted prior to the event with a set up home.
The event is from 12 pm to 3 pm at Palo Alto's Pet Food Express.
Those interested in meeting the dog can come out to our meet and greet event.
We no longer do application approval onsite.
Anyone adopting has been previously approved and set up to meet prior to the event.
Adoption Fee: $ Pork Chop is a 4 year old English BullDog who is handsome enough to want to take a bite out of! Pork Chop was surrendered to the shelter with a bad case of kennel cough, which we treated with loads of love (and medicine).
This handsome boy deserved better than a life in a kennel, so we scooped him out of there and promised him nothing but kisses and treats ahead.
Pork Chop has been living his best life ever since and is now ready to find his forever people! Pork Chop is very much your typical EBD, which means lovers of the breed have found their new Prince Charming! Pork Chop is a fabulous blend of snorts, snuggles, toy chasing, couch potato, all packaged in a stout body! Pork Chop is a total ham and knows how to make himself the life of any party! He is happy to chase after a toy, but sometimes decides halfway to the toy that he can't be bothered to bring it back.
Pork Chop is sassy in the way bully lovers will recognize.
He knows that he is handsome and that he can strut his stuff for endless scratches and treats.
Pork Chop is described as "exuberantly friendly" by all who meet him, which will make him the jewel of the dog park and beer garden.
Pork Chop also loves to accessorize and will happily model for any dogstagram content.
Truly, this dude is a total package who will have all the ladies fawning over him.
Pork Chop starts his morning at 8 AM with a morning potty and play session before he gets breakfast.
Between 9-1, he alternates between couches for long nap sessions, snoring the morning away happily.
In the afternoon, Pork Chop gets a walk which his wriggly body is so happy to embark on.
Once he gets home, he spends some time playing with his toys and finding a lap to try and scramble into.
He has dinner at 5 PM and then unwinds on the couch watching some TV before he heads to bed.
Pork Chop gets along with other dogs when he has a proper introduction to them.
He is very large and in charge, so his new home will need to be prepared to continue his behavior training.
Pork Chop has dry eye and will need eye drops daily in his new home, but besides that has no other bulldog medical conditions.
Pork Chop is working on his potty training and leash skills.
Pork Chop is only an option for those with prior dog ownership experience.
We will be prioritizing those homes with prior Bully experience.
Kids in the home should be over the age of 10.
