He has some past medical issues, that will require some caution/care.

Rambo is a distemper survivor.

He has no lower jaw.

He has been treated for erlichea and it is recommended that he get annual blood tests.

Introducing Rambo!
If you are looking for a loyal companion, a dog who lives for being with you and your adventures, then look no further!
Rambo wants to do whatever you are doing.

He will walk, hike, shop, go for a car ride, go to the beach, or cuddle on the couch! Whatever you would like! Rambo has been a perfect house guest.

He is housebroken, is left loose when home alone and is respectful at mealtimes.

Even when the little kids are eating! He is fostered with young children and a senior small dog.

He is dog tolerant, so could live with or without another dog.

He did come from a shelter that had many dogs.

While he sometimes enjoys their company, he also likes to have his space while he eats and rests.

Rambo was found on the streets of Puerta Vallarta with his jaw broken and hanging.

He is a distemper survivor and was covered in fleas and ticks.

He tested positive for elrichea and anaplasma.

Our partner rescue took him in, and treated him for his ailments.

He was in their care for almost two years.

We are shocked that no one scooped up this amazing guy.

Rambo will be looking for someone who sees what this guy has to offer.

Someone who can give him the love, attention and care that he so deserves.

In turn, he will be your devoted companion.

His missing lower jaw does not really cause any issues.

He eats regular kibble and he is not overly drooly (less than a dog with big jowls).

We do brush and floss his remaining front teeth as he has a spot where food gets stuck.

But this takes only a few seconds out of our day.
