Meet Rambo

If you are a fan of Chihuahuas, and have a soft spot in your heart for elder dogs, then Rambo might be a perfect fit for you. He is the sweetest boy ever! His health has improved in the time he has spent in his foster home. He is now strong enough to climb short flights of stairs, so he is ready for his new home.

Rambo would do best in a situation with at least two people, though one person would work very well if they preferred home life to an active social life. Rambo hates being left alone and likes men just as well as women. He welcomes people into his home and is not intimidated by larger dogs. Because of his age, Rambo doesn’t want to play with other dogs, but he enjoys being around them. His current foster home has two cats and Rambo tolerates them very well. Rambo also tolerates toenail trims and he takes his heart medications without any problems; they can either be wrapped in a treat or placed directly in his food.

Rambo is basically a good sport about everything except for being left alone. Rambo forms a deep bond with his person. He will be a gentle, lap-loving companion for anyone lucky enough to adopt him.
