Meet Ranger

Ranger is a fun, friendly and affectionate young boy who loves to play more than anything. He's great at fetch and tug of war but will also toss toys around to play all by himself. But he's not a bull in a China shop - if the ball goes under a plant stand, he will very carefully retrieve it, or ask for help. He's housebroken, crate trained, and knows basic obedience - sit, down, stay, drop it, leave it. He LOVES treats and is careful to take them very gently from your hand. We are working on loose leash skills while walking, so his furever family will need to have patience to help him learn that he doesn't always have to be pulling when he's on a leash.

We think Ranger will do best in a home with a private yard or large fenced lot, he would prefer to be the only dog in the household and is not super fond of small humans, they are a bit too much energy for him. If you are interested in Ranger, please come see him in his play group. Tues, Thurs, Sat, or Sun about 9 15 am.. or in his kennel during regular visiting hours.
