Meet Rodie
Meet Rodie, a 3-year-old male American Heeler mix.
Rodie arrived at the adoption center as a stray and as you can see from his face, he has faced some kind of past trauma. Rodie's jaw is never going to be "normal" but that doesn't keep him from being a fabulous dog. He loves to get attention and is one of the adoption centers favorites. Rodie does great on his leash and enjoys getting pets. He will need an adopter that can give him a quality softened diet and he may benefit from further dental care.
This pet is available for adoption at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. If you recognize this animal please contact the adoption center.
Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Saturday.
A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Adopt Don't Shop.
