Rosie, oh Rosie - a sweet brindle Boxer girl who is looking for a pawsome home to call her own.
For a girl who is just about 3 years old, Rosie's story is a very sad one.
Her owner passed away and believed to have been alone in the home for several days near him when family found them.
She was clearly stressed but our volunteers took tender loving care of her until she was placed in foster.
She is doggie selective and likes to be in control so best placed as an only dog in her forever home.
Our Rosie is crate trained, house trained, does okay on leash , likes to play with toys which keeps her busy.
A stable, very quiet home without a lot of activity in and out of the home is best for Rosie.
She can be nervous around new people in the beginning until she knows you.
Rosie is not a companion animal that should be brought to dog parks, coffee shops, or a home with people in/out of often.
She does best with her familiar home surroundings and people to call her own.
Rosie must be placed in the Phoenix area so that she can continue her BLR sponsored training.
We will only place in the Phoenix Metro area and only with an experienced Boxer family who will commit to continue her training (already paid for)! Email us at if you believe you're the right fit.
